Infrastructure
School of Business and Management in Kengeri Campus is located in the midst of the lush green land of 78.5 acres, about 25 kilometers from Central Campus and 10 kilometers from Bangalore University. We emphasize providing quality teaching and learning resources on par with the best in the higher education sector. A solid mindset exists to continually provide better educational resources for the students and faculty members to become a premier B-School. We have technology-aided learning through ICT-enabled classrooms and Learning Management systems (LMSs) such as Moodle and Google Classroom to enable a faster and better teaching-learning experience for our faculties and students. The latest Library Management systems (LMS) provide round-the-clock service to students, scholars, and faculty. The IT support system offers high bandwidth wi-fi connection for faculty and students, enabling uninterrupted teaching and learning. Well-equipped indoor and outdoor sports facilities cater to the students and faculty's physical fitness needs. A healthcare facility with an ambulance service and counseling services exists on campus to support students and faculty's physical and mental well-being. Overall, the holistic development-related resources and environment provided to students will go a long way in augmenting the teaching and learning process.
Classroom and Learning Facilities
SBM provides students and faculty with adequate facilities to make teaching-learning effective and engaging. The e-learning facilities are available to both faculty and students and also ensures the usage of the facilities by its stakeholders. The school regularly takes stock of the infrastructure requirements and strives to provide the faculty and students with the best facilities to enhance the learning.
Library Facilities
SBM's well-stocked library enables students, faculty, and research scholars by creating a conducive environment for learning and research. The library offers students and faculty access to reference books, newspapers, periodicals, magazines, journals, databases, MOOCs, reference materials, thesis and dissertation reports, and plagiarism/similarity check software. The students, through an online library catalog, can get the following services: search a book title-wise; author-wise; subject-wise; keywords; ISBN; status of a book; bibliographic details; renewal of books; and purchase suggestions. The library management software in use is RemoteX and Knimbus. SBM has subscribed to the plagiarism check software Turnitin, Urkund, and Grammarly.com, a proofreading software.
Amphitheatre
The amphitheater has been a sublime locale that acculturates many activities and events. The students host various functions here, including musical, theatrical, and other artistic productions. The presentations in the amphitheater are not just limited to the students, staff members, alumni, and families but further reach out to the whole community through large-scale productions.
Auditoriums
The Bangalore Kengeri campus has three air-conditioned auditoriums equipped with modern facilities that accommodate a total of 770 people. There is also an open auditorium (2400 square meters) with a seating capacity of 2500. It is distinguished by a big stage and green rooms with state-of-the-art audio and lighting arrangements and movable seating facilities.
Seminar Halls
The campus houses three seminar halls, accommodating 50 to 175 people at a time. These facilities cater to the efficient organization of on-campus events such as meetings, conferences, guest lectures, presentations, short-term training programs, workshops, seminars, cultural activities, celebrations, etc.
Stationary
The campus is equipped with two student stationery centers located in Block I and IV, catering to the daily needs of the students. The kiosks offer various items and facilitate photo-copying within the campus to benefit students and staff. In addition, it serves as a daily essential provider from bedding to toiletries for the hostel students.
Cafeteria and Canteens
Bangalore Kengeri Campus has four cafeterias and four canteens, seating up to 2000 individuals. A variety of hygienically prepared delicious food is served. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, a quick snack, or a cup of coffee, one is looking for; the canteens are where they should go. Conveniently located in Block- I & IV, nearby Car parking, and in Devadan Hall, these facilities are easily accessible by anyone, visitors included. The sight of hundreds of students spread out across the quadrangle and lake view, enjoying their food in groups, is pleasant.
Recreational Areas
The university emphasizes student recreation and well-being. To accomplish this, the campus houses recreation rooms, where the students can spend time playing table tennis, carom, chess, and a variety of other games.
Bandstand
The Bangalore Kengeri Campus has two bandstands widely used for outdoor classes, discussions, cultural programs, and student activities.
Sports Facilities
We ensure our students have access to the best athletic facilities because we understand the direct relation between staying physically and cognitively fit. On campus, we have four basketball courts, one cricket ground, one volleyball court, two badminton courts, two football grounds, and a 400-meter athletic track.
Gym
The campus provides well-equipped gym facilities for the students to train and maintain fit.
Ambulance Facility
The campus has an ever-ready ambulance service that continuously responds to medical emergencies on campus and within the local community at all hours.
Transportation
The campus has an efficient transport department. Equipped with buses, it provides hassle-free and safe transport to students and staff living in various places.
